2019 2nd Industry-Academia Collaboration between Taiwan's and Thailand's Enterprise Elites and National Chung Cheng University Forum is organized by National Chung Cheng University's ASEAN and South Asia Research Center, National Policy Research Center, and National Chengchi University Academic Field Alliance (Business Management and Social Science).
There were 8 Thai-Taiwan businessmen. After arriving at National Chung Cheng University, they visited Center for E-manufacturing and E-commerce. Center for E-manufacturing and E-commerce was actively promoting the bamboo industry. This visit was received and introduced by Dr. Shi-Ming (Jack) Huang and Professor Bao-Chai Chiang, which benefited Taiwanese businessmen a lot. Next, they visited the Advanced Institute of Manufacturing with High-tech Innovations. Professor De-Shin Liu, Yung-Chih Kuo, Pai-Chen Lin, Yung-Chou Kao, and Lai-Kwan Chau introduced the special research labs at National Chung Cheng University such as AR / VR virtual reality laboratory, biomedical materials laboratory, and nano biological detection technology research center and other characteristic research centers.
The forum after lunch was opened by Vice President Feng-Ming Hao. Deputy Magistrate Shu-Ya Xie of Yunlin County Government, Director Li-Sheng Lin of Intelligence Technologies Department of Chiayi City Government, and Deputy Director Jian-Lin Li of Agriculture Department of Chiayi County Government were all very interested in the topics in this forum so they have taken the time to attend. Besides, Gao-Xin Construction, One Power Bio Technology CO., LTD, Flowers Herbal Biological Technology CO., LTD. and Innovative and Superior Technology Inc. shared their products and technologies related to beverages, LEDs, health foods, etc. Dr. Yao-Hsu Yang, deputy director of Chiayi Chang Gung Hospital, and Dr. Chang Geng-He of Chiayi Chang Gung Hospital also came to introduce the new herbal nasal washer.
In addition, Dean Hseik-Wen Soong also took the time to attend and serve as the host, and discussed the business opportunities in placemaking reported by Professor Chin-Chin Cheng and Chief Operating Officer Yi-Xin Chou.
