From 2017/07/05-13, Center Director Professor Chin-Chin Cheng and Associate Professor Cheng-Chia Wang flew to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to attend the Malaysia-Taiwan Higher Education Fair. While there, they introduced the plentiful resources of CCU Law School and attracted interest among Malaysian lawyers to enroll in CCU Law School.

The day following the conclusion of the fair, Professor Chin-Chin Cheng went to Phnom Penh, Cambodia to visit the Royal University of Phnom Penh. She met with university president-appointed Dean of the Academy of Social Sciences Dr. UN Leang and School of Management Professor Dr. PHOU Sambath, who expressed great interest in academic exchange with CCU, planned a visit to CCU in the future, and signed a cooperation agreement between the two schools.

Aside from academic institutions, Professor Chin-Chin Cheng also visited multiple Taiwanese businesspeople in Cambodia, including the CEO of HyChill Chi-Hsin Lin and Director of Feng Ying Industrial Company Shuo-Hsiu He. These Taiwanese businesspeople strongly supported CCU’s future plan to establish a resource center in Cambodia and hope to establish official partnerships in the future.

Through Professor Chin-Chin Cheng’s visit, there have been concrete gains for student recruitment, academic exchange, and industrial partnership, opening up for CCU new partnership possibilities with Malaysia and Cambodia.
