From 2018/05/16-20, center director Professor Chin-Chin Cheng led a team of consultants—including Taiwan Tong International Business Technology chairman Chen-Yuan Su, Dong Yo CEO Cheng-Yeh Chiang, Yochi Trading general manager Hung-Shen Hsu, Agneeds CEO Wu-I Yen—to Thailand to visit Kasetsart University, Bangkok Christian Hospital, North Bangkok University, and other schools, institutions, and organizations belonging to the Thai-Taiwan Business Association.

This visit stimulated collaboration over new agricultural technology between the group from the ASEAN center and the Thai agricultural industry. It also combined CCU’s research capability in elderly markets with results, with hopes of future collaboration with the elderly markets in Thailand. The group from the ASEAN center successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Thai-Taiwan Business Association, not only raising CCU’s visibility and influence in Thailand, but also impressing the Thai-Taiwan Business Association with CCU’s research capability and results such that it will visit CCU on 2018/07/12, hoping to establish more concrete future partnerships with CCU.
