ASEAN and South Asia Research Center Placed on List of Recommended Institutions by Taipei Exchange Go Incubation Board for Startup and Acceleration Firms (GISA)
National Chung Cheng University ASEAN and South Asia Research Center has been placed on the list of recommended institutions by the Taipei Exchange Go Incubation Board for Startup and Acceleration Firms (GISA). By bridging industry and academia, it can provide assistance on various fronts including providing funding for new companies, strengthening infrastructure, and raising competitiveness, all in order to give quality companies the opportunity for rapid development.
1. Starting today, should applying companies or the Preparatory Office of the Enterprise Securities Company Co., Ltd. (hereafter Preparatory Office) obtain from CCU ASEAN and South Asia Research Center a recommendation or “Innovative Idea Opinion Letter,” they will be exempt from the following restrictions:
(a) According to administrative regulation 15 rule 1, the issuance of common stock for cash or incorporation by solicitation before a company or preparatory office registers with GISA must submit an investment by a GISA-provided investor of capital stock per share not in excess of 30 million NTD.
(b) According to administrative regulation 20 rule 4, the information related to the issuance of common stock for cash of a GISA company from the past year (including this instance) will be displayed on the GISA information page and the company must submit an investment by a GISA-provided investor of capital stock per share not in excess of 30 million NTD.
(c) Starting today, applying companies or preparatory offices which obtain from CCU ASEAN and South Asia Research Center the “Innovative Idea Opinion Letter,” according to administrative regulation 5 rule 1, before registering with GISA is exempt from an innovation and creativity review by a review committee appointed by the center.
