2019 New Southbound Talent Development Workshop-2 and International Internship

Through organizing the "New Southbound Talent Development Workshop-2," ASEAN and South Asia Research Center helped Office of International Affairs send a select group of 25 students from the colleges of business, management, social science, science and engineering to Phnom Penh in Cambodia to undergo a two week international internship. These 25 students were in the positions of general manager secretary, washing engineer, labor safety engineer, factory program planner, human resource manager, equipment maintenance engineer, automation engineer, chemical analyst, plant manager, legal commissioner, etc. Besides, they also participated in local donation activities organized by Taiwan charity groups, making handmade clothes with local children. This visit not only enabled students to understand the  living environment, social atmosphere and job market of Phnom Penh but also served as the cornerstone for students' future development in Southeast Asia.
