On March 17, 2020, Professor Chin-Chin Cheng, director of ASEAN and South Asia Research Center, signed MOUs with BeNiche Consulting Group and Taiwan INHART Halal Certification Authority, and hired Shiao-Chi Ma, the chairman of Taiwan INHART Halal Certification Authority, as the center's consultant.
